SEED Center Kick-Off Seminar 2021: Our First Global Meeting in Munich

After countless virtual meetings and interactions since our project launch in 2020, we finally managed to welcome the partners of our TUM SEED Center for Sustainable Energies, Entrepreneurship, and Development from all around the globe to our Covid-compliant Kick-Off Week in Munich, last October.

Researchers and project coordinators from TUM and our partner universities in Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Peru, India, and Indonesia, as well as our other international partners from the research, governmental, and private sector came together at the Galileo Science Center in Garching. We discussed how teaching, research, and joint projects can contribute to the development of rural communities in different regions of the Global South and how to integrate our Living Labs into these activities. After this priceless personal exchange, we cannot wait to put our ideas into action.
