In our project, we will focus on the nexus of sustainable energies and entrepreneurship. We aim at conducting research and providing higher education on an international level to tackle the opportunities that the latest generation of mini grids has to offer for the Global South. To this end eight living labs will be cocreated in the countries of the partner universities which will ensure that all participating higher education institutions will acquire a high level of expertise in development work and collaboration.

On one hand the living labs represent a promising context for research relating subjects of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, conducted by the Doctoral candidates, post doc researchers and senior scholars of the network. And on the other hand, applied projects in the living labs enable experiential and practical learning by master students who enhance their employability in the labor market.
